About the Business
Stokes Decorators was established in 1920, a family business where quality and high standards of service are the most important considerations, from which the company has gained a national reputation for excellence. But these high standards do not mean that Stokes Decorators do not like getting their hands dirty. Every type of project is undertaken from decorating a smoke damaged factory to a listed building. From a private house to a country hotel, cathedral, commercial offices or factories, every client is treated with the same courtesy, care and special attention.
A visit by one of the Directors always precedes a quotation. In this initial briefing they will ascertain customers' needs and make sure that any special requests are observed, e.g. This courtesy and attention to detail starts within the company itself. Every employee is known personally by Donald and Simon Stokes and some have been with the company for three decades or more, true craftsmen with real pride in their work.
